(astro) Email Queue Clear
All delayed email messages have now been delivered.
All delayed email messages have now been delivered.
The mail queue is processing now and will be clear in around 15-20 minutes.
The delay of email was due to an automated virus scanning update in the small hours this morning. Instead of updating as per normal, mail was held (queued), until this update was corrected.
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay.
Email accounts on astro have had email delayed today due. The cause is being investigated right now so that the queue can be flushed and email delivered.
No email messages have been lost. They have been delayed by up to eight (8) hours.
The upgrades and migrations are now complete.
There have been a couple of issues resulting in the change of PHP, mySQL and Apache. We’re working with a couple of clients to tweak settings as needed.
If your website is exhibiting and unusual behaviour then please contact the helpdesk.
Thanks for your patience during this maintenance period.
The upgrades are almost complete and we’re working our way through the accounts to ensure settings are correct. If you notice anything not working on your website please send a message into the helpdesk.
Both atom and astro have been replaced with new faster servers. We’ve taken this time to bring astro’s installations of both PHP and mySQL into the current versions – 5.x.
This afternoon we’ll going through both servers to make sure that any tweaks required for older scripts are done. If you find something on your website that’s not working as expected then please send in a request via the helpdesk.
It’s no longer necessary to take the servers offline as we’re taking a different approach.
Accounts from both atom and astro are being migrated to new servers and a DNS cut-over will take place in a matter of minutes.
