mySQL on atom will be restarted shortly in order to permit the restoration of a client database from backup. The restart will be done gracefully and last no more than a couple of minutes.

Mail processing has now returned to normal. The reboot was required to complete an update to address the issue and after manual intervention to get the server back online mail started processing again.
At this time there are a dozen messages still to be processed. This will take a few minutes at most. Unfortunately as a result of the original issue some purging was required, however, we were careful to protect as much regular email as possible.
Any mail messages being sent to the affected domains will have been queued at the senders server (unless a bounce was already received) and will be delivered in line with the senders server timing schedule. This is normally in and around four hours. All mail received by atom will now be processed in the standard timely manner.
Once again, thank you for your patience.
The server has returned and all web sites are once again accessible. We’re still investigating the email delivery issue. Progress has been made since this morning, however, not all mail is being processed as per normal. More details will be provided as they become available.
atom hasn’t returned from it’s reboot so a call has been placed to the data center to bring it back online. Whilst off line all web sites hosted on atom will be unavailable.
Please accept our apologies for the inconveniences caused.
A reboot of atom is currently underway. Please standby while all services come back on line.
At present there is an issue delivering mail for accounts residing on atom. The issue was first raised earlier this morning and although it was addressed then it has resurfaced.
We’re working on it now and may need to restart the mail services after making some configuration changes.
Thanks for your patience whilst this is addressed this morning.
Mail for all domains on atom was being delayed where mail scanning (virus/spam filtering) was taking place. This issue has now been resolved and the mail queue flushed. No email has been lost, however, it has been delayed - in some cases up to 4.5 hours. The mail queue will clear within the next 10 - 15 minutes.
