The high traffic load is now behind us and everything has been reachable for the past few hours. Thank you for patience and understanding.

A message from our network provider: We continue to see very high traffic across the board. We will note that this is not a DOS attack, for those who are under the impression that it is. This is no different than other sites and networks which are experiencing exactly the same things we are as people log on to discuss and read about the US election. These issues are not related solely to our network, and that is borne out by discussions at those same sites, or a complete “service unavailable” intermittently at places like Slate.

They will continue to monitor things closely.

Traffic is starting to ease off now as the US voting day travels along. We’re expecting levels to return to normal as the voting booths. At this time all sites are reachable.

We’re currently seeing a decrease in traffic and limited access is possible. It’s likely that we will experience peaks through out the day as the election progresses.
