Astro has returned and we’re investigating why it became unresponsive.   Initially it looks like a script had become locked.
We do not expect anty further interruptions.

Astro has become unresponsive and a reboot is underway.

The issue has now been resolved.  Mail from the past few hours is being delivered now.  Due to the nature of the issue no email messages have been lost.  If you have any questions please contact the helpdesk for further information.

We are investigating an issue that is affecting both incoming and outgoing mail for all domains on astro.  We are seeing mail processed by the server however it does not appear to be delivering mail in a timely manner.
